Women Meeting Women reserves the right to revoke any member who is found to be in violation of its purposes, by-laws, policy and procedures. A membership may also be revoked for giving out personal information on any member without permission (i.e. email address, phone number, address, etc.), including “the outing of” members sexual orientation status. Any threat to the organization or its membership, of any kind, will constitute dismissal from the group.
The purpose of this organization is for the enjoyment, support and resources of each and every member. Women Meeting Women cannot allow, nor will not allow, anyone to disrupt our mission statement, or our everyday business.
Any revocation of membership will be done only by a 2/3rds vote of the WMW Board of Directors. The member will be advised by email of the violation and the decision.
Any member who disagrees with the revocation of their membership may request a hearing for reinstatement within 30 days of notification. The WMW Board of Directors will put you on the next month’s WMW BOD Agenda for review by the Board of Directors. WMW will have 30 days from that hearing to advise you of their decision via email or certified letter. That decision will be final.
